Effective stack size problem

Postby Wojtalenko » Sun Nov 19, 2017 12:08 am

Hello!

I have a problem with effective stack size. I will try to explain it in specific example. I play spin n go tournaments and I made a statistic limp/fold BTN in specific blinds section.

Where is the problem? Imagine the situation:
Hero(BTN): 20bb
SB: 20bb
BB: 10bb

Hero is limp, sb folds and BB push after limp. So now I want have this statistic in 9-13bb section but I have it in 18-25 bb section, because effective stack size preflop was 20bb(not 10bb). IS any possibility to make this statistic as I want.

I used this
(tourney_hand_player_statistics.amt_p_effective_stack / tourney_blinds.amt_bb) BETWEEN 9 and 13.

Regards.

The effective stack is determined at the player's first action so it isn't possible for it to have a different value in this situation.

If the player faces an all-in 2bet you could test for the size of the raise using 'tourney_hand_player_statistics.amt_p_2bet_facing', but that wouldn't help when the raise was not all-in.
