All in equity graph wrong

Postby flobalob » Thu May 03, 2018 10:30 am

The graph shows minus $25 for the all in equity yet I was 83% to win the hand when the money went in. Am I missing something here, wouldn't be the first time!!

Adjusted equity is not calculated in hands like this where there was further action on another street after an all-in. When further actions are possible after more information becomes available (after the turn is dealt for example) then the players who can act have further choices, and only the stronger hands are likely to get to showdown (with weaker hands folding) and this would introduce a bias in the results. Therefore any hands where players have the opportunity to act after another street is dealt following an all-in are excluded from these calculations. In cases like this the net adjusted result will match the actual result (so that the net adjusted graph follows your actual results and only diverges when all-in equity is calculated).
