Downgrading

I was told to test an alpha version for some issues but its worse so i want to go back to the latest stable version; how do i do this... do i just install the "older" version over the current instillation or do i have to totally uninstall poker tracker and then install the stable version and then link with my database?

There is no need to uninstall anything so just run the PokerTracker installer over the top of the existing install.
