As a workaround you could purge the session and then import the downloaded history to get the full hole card information, or import the downloaded histories to a separate database to do this type of review.

I want to do this. But i am kind of computer challenged. Will I also need to create a new file on my computer to save my hand histories to, and then temporarily direct them there while I'm using this new database? Or can I just create the new database, switch over to it , hit the download button in the Ignition client and have it just work that way?

PokerTracker 4 can now update the hole cards if downloaded hands are imported after grabbed hands so it's no longer necessary to purge hands or use a new database.

I can't get it to work so far. I can't figure out where Ignition is sending my hands to when I requested the download. I tried to get PT to import from the files associated with Ignition that it brought up as options. It downloaded a few thousand hands from somewhere. Then I went in to pull up a random hand from 3 days ago but no hole cards. The first thing PT pulled up for me when I went to import was something in the "I-Poker" directory. I imported that , then went to the Ignition directory and imported from some file in there. It didn't produce the hole cards though. When I requested the download from Ignition I really have no idea what happened. It didn"t say "downloading to blah-blah file" or anything. But it probably did something because the files dont say "available for download" anymore. Now they say "open hand history file" instead.

"Ignition Casino Poker > Hand history" is the place that I imported from the second time. I can't try again because the Ignition client no longer says "available for download". So it seems Ignition downloaded them to my computer, but they didn't say where when they did it. Is there any chance they sent it somewhere less obvious?

OK so I went into Ignition Poker> Hand history files and I looked in there and found a bunch of hands written in text that revealed the hole cards of all the players in hands that were played over the past week. So I took the time to read one in detail so that I could see what the date and timestanp etc. plus my hole cards were. Then I dug it out of PT and put it up on the replayer. The hole cards weren't on the replayer. So , as of now, it really seems that I did this right and PT just didn't update the hole cards. I'm sure I did something wrong but I'm pretty stumped now. BTW I don't see a place where I can just type in a hand number and pull it up. I always have to go digging through the sessions to find it. Is there a feature where I can just type in a hand to pull it up?

I'm using v4.15.14

Manually downloaded Ignition/Bovada hands should download to C:\<skin name>\Hand History. Make sure you are importing the files manually (Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk) and not automatically (Play Poker -> Get Hands While Playing). If you want to check a specific hand then you can create a 'Hand Report' in 'My Reports' and then use this expression filter:

Code: Select all
cash_hand_summary.hand_no = 'x'

You can use this expression filter by clicking on the 'Filters' link and selecting 'Add New Expression Filters'. Replace x with your hand number and leave the single quotes - those are needed. If you need further assistance please include all relevant information detailing this issue in a Support Ticket with your hand history files:

Yes. I'm pretty sure I'm doing this as directed. I'm not using "Get Hands
while Playing" . Here is the message in the window I get :

"Import complete. No hands or summaries in 1 file were imported. (0 errors, 33 duplicates)"

Still the hole cards are in the text of the file but not in the replayer.

There is a file inside my Hand History file called "580722891494" . I don't know why it's there but that is where Ignition is saving my hands to. So when PT asks me what file to import, I have to open the HH file and then open the "580722891494" file to pick the HH file I want.

I know the hole cards are in the files I'm choosing because I've gone in and looked at them. Is the message window telling me that it didn't bother to reimport the hands because they were duplicates?

Make sure that you are importing with the latest version of PokerTracker 4 and in the replayer click the 'Options' button and check that 'Show Known Hole Cards' is enabled. If that doesn't help please send us your grabbed and downloaded hand history files to us in a Support Ticket.

I'm running 4.15.17 and when I import my hand histories from Ignition the whole cards aren't coming in. All hands still display as when they were grabbed while playing.
The only way I can get them is to purge the played hands and reimport. Any thoughts on how to fix this? It would be so much easier if I didn't have to purge and make sure I have all of the correct hands.
thanks

Are you auto-importing (Play Poker -> Get Hands While Playing) the downloaded hands and getting import errors? That will be resolved in the next update and you can manually import downloaded hands using 'Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk' which is the recommended method. If that's not the problem please send a sample of your grabbed and downloaded hands to us in a Support Ticket with your log file:
