Flop Squeeze Opportunity

Postby carl91 » Sat Aug 01, 2020 1:33 am

Hey couldn't quite work our how to create this filter.

Conditions are it's a multi-way pot so I have the 'Players Seeing Flop Between 3 and 3' filter selected. I want to see what kind of frequencies population call/fold in situations where there is a c-bet and then an over-call and the 3rd player has the opportunity to squeeze.

E.g. BTN RFI, SB call, BB call. BTN c-bet --> SB call --> BB "Squeeze opportunity?"

Or MP RFI, BTN cold-call, BB call. MP check, BTN float bet --> BB over-call --> MP "Squeeze opportunity?"

Is this possible? If a flop squeeze opportunity = true then we can filter for spots specifically when there is a bet and then a call. On the other hand if flop squeeze opportunity = NOT true then it would filter out for the instances where BTN RFI, SB call, BB call. BTN c-bet, SB fold, BB = "no squeeze opportunity."

There isn't a postflop squeeze filter so there isn't a simple way to filter for this but it could possibly be done with a custom expression filter that tests/compares the positions of players in the flop aggressors and actors strings. This post has information on how the actors and aggressors strings work while this thread and this thread discuss how you can compare/test the strings.

Ok, thanks will play around with that.

Speaking of expression filters, is there a way to save them the way you can with quick filters?

No although they will save as part of a custom report.
