HUD not working pokerstars

Hi All

new user so maybe a noob question, but as I'm not receiving an answer to tickets raised, thought I'd try the community!

Just using on pokerstars and want the HUD to be displayed. Have ensured pokerstars has been configured. It has launched once on a cash game, but the HUD stats do not update when I am playing, only if I 'sit out' and then it stops at a max of 30 hands. Don't know why it doesn't update while playing (I have clicked the 'get hands while playing' button).

Second issue is the HUD doesn't dispaly at all in tournaments (have tried it on 6, 9 and 10 ring) and no hands are importing - again 'get hands while playing' has been clicked.

Appreciate any help or advice.

That means there is an issue with the configuration. The 30 hands you are seeing are those imported by the PokerTracker 4 "Memory Grabber" which is a special feature that integrates with the PokerStars application to grab hands that reside in memory. PokerStars has a unique policy of allowing tracking software to import 30 observed hands per session to aid with table selection which PokerTracker 4 complies with but for your own hands to import while playing everything must be setup correctly:

PokerTracker 4 only supports English so hand histories need to be saved in English (PokerStars Client -> Settings -> Playing History -> Hand History) and the PokerStars client needs to be running in English (PokerStars Client -> Settings -> Global -> Language -> English).

Is your PokerStars client set to save your hand history files? You can check that in:

PokerStars Client -> Settings -> Playing History -> Hand History -> [x] Save My Hand History

If it's set to save the hands then is PokerStars actually creating the hand history files on your computer while you are playing? Go to the folder set in PokerStars and there should be a folder with your player name and inside that folder would be the hand history files. I've seen on occasion hand histories not save to the default location (C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\{PokerStars Skin Name}\HandHistory) so if that's the case try creating and setting a custom hand history folder (e.g. C:\StarsHH) instead in both PokerStars and PokerTracker 4 (Configure -> Sites & Import Options -> Site Configuration -> PokerStars).

Once that is setup you can test this on a table by clicking 'Play Poker -> Get Hands While Playing'.
