filtering: directly pick a specific flop

Postby ommaha » Sat Apr 13, 2013 5:54 am

hi,

i tried to filter for special flops. for example AT8 rainbow.

atm it is a lot of clicking to produce
((Flop Contains At Least One A) AND (Flop Contains At Least One T) AND (Flop Contains At Least One 8)).

could you introduce a filter "flop contains" or "flop is" please?

the filter contains at least one would be also good if there was a possibility to change "Flop contains at least One A OR T OR 8" into "FLop contains at least One A AND T AND 8". thanks very much

I agree that the "at least one" filter should 'AND' the cards together, and the development team are aware of this too, but there are complications behind the scenes which make that tricky. I do hope that we'll be able to update the filter window to make these things more natural in as many cases as possible, but I'm not sure when that will be done. For now you'll need to add the cards individually, but I'll make sure the development team see your comments.

push ;)

btw is there a way to edit the code from filter files with an editor?
if the code was similar to the code in the logfiles than it could be faster/easier to program specific boards there

You can write manual filters in the filter expressions area of the My Reports window if you'd rather do it that way but you can't use filter expressions everywhere, only in the custom reports.

Board Texture -> Board Cards -> Flop Contains at least one J
and
Board Texture -> Board Cards -> Flop Contains at least one T
and
Board Texture -> Board Cards -> Flop Contains at least one 9

Hi,

any news about that? I would love to filter especially for lockdown straight flops (i.e. no oesd possible that could make a different nutstraight on turn in omaha) where just one straight is possible but I do not see a way how to do it atm. AKQ, AKJ, AKT, AQJ, AQT, AJT, KQ9, KT9, Q98, J87, T76, 965, 854, 743, 632, A32

I'm not aware of any changes to these filters yet but I'll make sure the development team see your request.

How would I filter for a flop that had exactly three of the same card value please?

edit: I worked it out. Choose three of a kind flop and contains at least one T.
