Nevermind if I am wrong, but it feels like equity is not calculated correctly..

I think it does not consider the correct prizepool in calculations if u lose.

Any thoughts?

The prizepool is not written to the hand history unless you win, so we base equity calculations on the "average" long-term prize pool, which is the buy-in + extra cost, but not the fee. For example in €1 Twisters it's something like 93c + 7c, so the effective long-term average prize pool is 3 * 93c.

Ok.... Considering that the lost games are adjusted with the "average" prizepool..

Doesn't this mean that in general the C Net adjusted winnings should be higher than the calculated results with the "average" prizepool?

Or am I totally misunderstanding something?

Thx in advance

In theory your actual winnings will average out to the same prize pool since sometimes you'll win the higher prizes too.

Sorry for unearthing this thread !

After I manually edit a Twister to the correct prizepool (in the "edit tournament" feature), is there a way to get PT4 to calculate again the net adjusted using the updated prizepool ? I've looked everywhere but can't find one.

If it's not possible, it would be a very useful feature.

Thanks.

To update your net adjusted results after editing the prizepool click 'Auto Detect'. In the window that opens make sure 'Update Finish and Amount Won' is unchecked and then select 'Detect'.
