Postby Borsaci007 » Sat Feb 22, 2014 3:33 pm

Hello,

I upgraded yesterday from PT3 to PT4. And PT4 ist GREAT :D :D :D .
Thank you for the work you put into this product.
Great work.

My Question:

Here is one hand:

PokerStars Zoom Hand #87950578943: Hold'em No Limit ($0.01/$0.02 USD) - 2012/10/20 12:26:39 ET
Table 'Halley' 6-max Seat #1 is the button
Seat 1: leinad54 ($3.03 in chips)
Seat 2: loue_ch ($2.87 in chips)
Seat 3: Pot Death ($2.90 in chips)
Seat 4: Andreas4015 ($2.75 in chips)
Seat 5: Gerakatgera ($3.56 in chips)
Seat 6: belyi 75 ($0.90 in chips)
loue_ch: posts small blind $0.01
Pot Death: posts big blind $0.02
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Andreas4015: folds
Gerakatgera: folds
belyi 75: folds
leinad54: calls $0.02
loue_ch: folds
Pot Death: checks
*** FLOP *** [Qd 8c 3c]
Pot Death: checks
leinad54: checks
*** TURN *** [Qd 8c 3c] [Qs]
Pot Death: checks
leinad54: checks
*** RIVER *** [Qd 8c 3c Qs] [8s]
Pot Death: checks
leinad54: checks
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Pot Death: shows [2d 9c] (two pair, Queens and Eights)
leinad54: shows [Ad 4d] (two pair, Queens and Eights - Ace kicker)
leinad54 collected $0.05 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $0.05 | Rake $0
Board [Qd 8c 3c Qs 8s]
Seat 1: leinad54 (button) showed [Ad 4d] and won ($0.05) with two pair, Queens and Eights
Seat 2: loue_ch (small blind) folded before Flop
Seat 3: Pot Death (big blind) showed [2d 9c] and lost with two pair, Queens and Eights
Seat 4: Andreas4015 folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 5: Gerakatgera folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 6: belyi 75 folded before Flop (didn't bet)

In this hand I get for the player Pot Death in
PT3 holdem_hand_player_combinations.id_r_hand_strength = 1
PT4 cash_hand_player_combinations.id_r_hand_strength = 0

Why does it differ between PT3 and PT4?
How should I understand this?
Are there more differences like this issue?
Can you list these differing issues?

Thanks in advance

In PT4 for two pair hands hand_strength is 0 if your hole cards do not contribute to the two pair. If you want to evaluate kickers, you use the id_x_kicker_strength field.

The full database schema for PT4 will eventually be released at which point all of the nuances will be made clear but if there are specifics situations you want to know about I'm happy to answer them.
