Steal flop vs float flop

Postby KinitoBW » Fri Aug 01, 2014 5:38 am

Hello,

I want to ask you about these stats.

Whats the diference between both?

I think in both cases the villain bets after our miss cbet, but im sure that im wrong.

Thank you!

Float flop is a default statistic that is:

Percentage of the time that a player bets in position on the flop after calling an open raise from the preflop aggressor and the aggressor fails to continuation bet on the flop.

Steal flop is not a default statistic so you'd have to tell me how it's defined for me to tell you what it means.

Hello,

You were right, a friend gave me this stat.

Here you are the definition

((cnt_f_float+cnt_t_probe) / (cnt_f_float_opp+cnt_t_probe_opp)) * 100

Thank you very much!

That's how often someone bets on their next action after the preflop aggressor doesn't cbet the flop -- whether it's in position on the flop, or out of position on the turn.
