After trying to create a fairly complicated Spin-N-Go HUD based on blind levels, I've come to the following conclusion: Creating a complicated custom HUD and all the required custom stats/columns is one of the most boring, repetitive, time-consuming challenges that anyone can hope to undertake.
I've spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to speed up the process without any luck until I examined the file of an exported HUD in a text editor. The file appears to be a basic text file. The structure of all the components pretty much mimics the text in the PokerTracker column/stat editor with a few special characters mixed in.
It seems like it'd be fairly simple to use Python to generate text files containing new custom stats/HUDS and then just import them into PokerTracker. The only problem I'm running into is the encoding of the exported stat/HUD file. I've tried pretty much everything I can think of to figure out the encoding and am coming up blank.
I know this is a long shot, but is there any documentation available on the formatting of pt4stat files?
