I flg_showdown necessary when using flg_x_<handvalue>?

Postby callmydame » Mon Feb 04, 2019 9:31 am

If I make a column:
if[(NOT flg_f_highcard) AND flg_f_cbet,1,0] (or any other flg_x_<handvalue> field)
...will PT4 only count instances where the hands are known?

Or will it count all instances where hand is known to be better than high card and c-bet on flop,
AND all instances where hands are unknown and c-bet on flop?

I am asking because if hole cards are unknown, it is not unreasonable that flg_f_highcard is simply false, and its negation be true in my expression, but that would give incorrect results for me.

I can solve all of this by using flg_showdown in my columns, but I am asking if that is necessary.

Only instances where the players hole cards are known will be counted so you don't need to add flg_showdown.
