changing hud stats based on players left at the table

I play SnGs a lot and the player stats can be skewed if we have played a lot of heads up or 3 handed so I was wondering if there was a way for the HUD to show only stats for the villain based on the number of players at the table and change as you progressed?

e.g. when 9 - 4 handed show the stats for this number of players. 3 players or less show only stats from that situation.

Or do I have to create two huds and switch in the game?

Yes, you can do that using the Hud Options. See the 'Number of Players Filtered' option.
