PT4 - Unable to create PostgreSQL database:

Hello,

I've been having this problem for months on my macbook and are now looking for help to solve this.

I have read so many different threads about this problem but none seems to work for me.

When I try to create my database a window pops up and says:

"Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT4 DB
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: could not connect to server: No such file or directory Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432"? "

I have tried to reinstall it with the instructions from this thread: https://www.pokertracker.com/guides/PT4 ... gresql-mac but nothing seems to work.

I have also tried to turn of my firewall etc etc.

I really need my PT4 to work for my mac.

Does anyone know what else I can do?

If you've already tried reinstalling PostgreSQL with that guide then please open a Support Ticket where one of our technicians can assist you further.
