MacOS Sierra problem

I just installed macOS Sierra.

When i open PT4, I get this message:

Unable to login to database (postgres). Reason: could not connect to server: No such file or directory Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432"?
configure defaults - cancel

Not knowing excactly what this means, I click cancel, which leads to this box:

PokerTracker will have problems creating and restoring databases with incorrect default database parameters.
Would you like to proceed anyway?
yes - no

Do you know what to do to make PT work again?

Do you see PostgreSQL in your Applications folder? What version of PostgreSQL are you using? Older PostgreSQL versions relied on a particular Mac function to exist but in Sierra that has been removed.

I have a folder called "PostgreSQL 8.4" in my Applications folder, does that answer the question? :)
