I don't have any custom stats, just build in.
hud stats loads fast enough, but when i open any popup, it takes at lest 30 sec to show stats.
db size is 29 gb. i tried reindex and vacuum (it helps reduce db size from 31gb to 29)

Based on the description of the trouble you are having it sounds like your database cache needs to be rebuilt but to ensure it's not something else please capture this trouble you're having in a log file and then send that to us in a Support Ticket so we can see what is going on here:
