Is there a way to stop Notecaddy running. The last few days, half way through my sessions my computer has locked up and when I've managed to get it to open windows task manager NotecaddyPT4.exe is using about 2gb of memory. I've looked through the preferences but there doesn't seem to be an option

How much RAM do you have? 8+GB RAM is recommended but performance depends on many factors (disk speed, database size, number of tables open, other programs running). In your NoteCaddy settings you can disable 'Automatically start taking notes....' but there isn't an option to have NoteCaddy not start although you can rename the 'NoteCaddyPT4.exe' in your C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Apps\Tm90ZUNhZGR5 folder if you want to do that.

For future reference; there will be an option in the next PT4 version to temporarily disable any third party app (like NoteCaddy).

Do you have a timescale for this implementation?

On my system (16gb ram), Note Caddy constantly increases memory use until the system grinds down to a crawl - the highest I've seen is 10gb.

This even happens when I'm not playing poker and PT4 is running in the background.

This option has been implemented with the release of PokerTracker v4.15.4.

Yes and it doesn't work. Even after disabling it, NoteCaddy continues to run in the background. You can even end the process through task manager, and it will somehow manage to make it's way back in there. It literally makes computer use unplayable and quite honestly, I think it's pretty bad that you guys still haven't fixed this. I've had to spend quite a bit of time figuring out what's causing my slowdown and now, with PT4 installed, there's now way of knowing when it will happen. Absolutely horrendous bug/glitch that needs an immediate fix.

I went in and deleted everything that had notecaddy associated with it and that *seems* to have done it. You'd certainly hope it would, right?

If you select the 'PokerTracker+ -> NoteCaddy -> Disable NoteCaddy' menu option and restart PokerTracker 4 does that stop NoteCaddy from starting?

Where is the file location for NC? I have it disabled and it still slows down my laptop after hours of use. Even loading PT4 takes way longer than it should after having it disabled. I want to delete it all of the HDD, disabling it isn't enough. The laptop will literally freeze up for a minute or two, only when PT4 is running, a few times a day during a session.
