Postby Pokaholic » Thu Jan 24, 2008 8:27 pm

I just downloaded. I have had Postgre PT2 database for quite some time. I downloaded the option for just PTS. When I attempt to start PTS, I get the following in a dialog box:

Poker Tracker Error

XML parsing error: 'syntax error' at line 1

I have the floowing: XP Pro, 3.4Ghz HT, 2 Gig memory, Postreg v8.0.3

Try uninstalling and downloading/installing again.

Uninstall/Reinstall .... Same problem.

Task manager shows PT running but there is nothing happening ..... no CPU usage but 6292k memory usage.

If I try to restart PT3, it says that a version is already running.

That's odd. Does the PokerTracker.log file say anything? Which version did you download?

Paste from log file:

2008/00/24 18:40:00.359: [- Main -][System] PokerTracker v3.00 beta 1

That is all it says. I have tried opening PT3 several times with the same result. I have to kill the process in order to attempt to reopen the app.

The "Logs" folder is also empty.

FWIW, Task Manager shows 4 postgre.exe image names and 1 postmaster.exe image name, all using NO CPU but using between 2,772 and 10,836 memory.

I have the same problem, my PT3 version is just a few minutes old. I run XP HOME SP2, AMD X2 3800+ (Dual) and PostgreSQL 8.something.

Which version did you download, with or without PostgreSQL?

Without, since I already have been using Postrge with PT2.

I can try the FULL download ... as long as it does not mess up my existing PT2 databases.

This part is normal, sounds like posgres is up and running fine.

Try re-downloading. It sounds like some of the data files have been corrupted.
