Filtering winnings against certain player types

I'd like to see how I fare against LAGS, nits, maniacs etc. but wouldn't know how to accomplish this.

Are you using AutoRate? Can you use the icons to pick out the different player types effectively?

Actually that tool doesn't seem to work for me. No player types are being picked up. Any suggestions?

I didn't make any changes. Wouldn't that mean, default settings are being used?

You still need to click "Use Defaults" on the Rules tab.

Okay, that does the trick. (obvisouly you use the term default differently from how I do )
While this is running, what would be the next step?

Then you can use custom reports to see how you're doing in hands against these players. You will need to define a little bit more what you mean by "against" though - do you want hands where any one of these players sees the flop? Raises preflop? Makes it to showdown?

Wonna look at 3bet/4bet pots and showdowns. How would I do that?

Btw kraada, do you use the auto-rate yourself and if so, what are your settings?

For showdown pots you'd add a filter to the blue Filters section in the Reports tab that looks like this:

holdem_hand_player_statistics.id_hand in (SELECT hhps.id_hand from holdem_hand_player_statistics hhps, player p where p.id_player = hhps.id_player and hhps.flg_showdown and p.val_icon = X)

Replace the X with a number between 0 and 15 - each picks out a different group.

I have never found a set of autorate rules that I liked better than the original defaults, but I admit I haven't done a whole lot of research into it.
