Unable to rebuild cache ERROR: invalid input syntax for inte

Postby braveslice » Tue Feb 24, 2015 4:20 pm

"Unable to rebuild cache.

Reason: Error: Unable to execute query: Fatal Error; Reason: Error: (ERROR: invalid input syntax for integer: "" CONTEXT: PL/pgSQL function update_cash_custom_cache_playerrange(integer,integer) line 13 at FOR over SELECT rows )"

I have a new version of propokerhud, could it be the reason?

What next?

I'm not aware of any problems with their product though it is possible. Have you added any other new custom stats recently?

Try creating a new empty DB, set it to active and do a rebuild custom cache on that. If that is successful, it means that your existing DB has become corrupted in some way.

Have you updated PT or PostgresSQL and cancelled it during an operation? What version of PT / PostgreSQL are you running etc.

If you drop us an email to our support email address, one of our team will be more than happy to help you out.

BTW, we do have our own official support thread on PokerTracker.com, down below the main set of categories.

Ok I had some custom stuff (old stuff, deleted those). No difference.

Created new database, set active, rebuild custom ok.

My database and PT are located at external hard disk, this creates some problems with notebook pc.

I go to prohud topic to ask uninstallation instruction, and maybe also contact pt4 support.

After deleting prohud and all custom stats, I still fail to rebuild cache. Both rebuild cache and custom cache.

postgreSQL 9.4.0

Try backing up your database, uninstalling 9.4 and installing 9.3.5 and that might help. We haven't confirmed yet if there are any 9.4 problems so while we're not aware of any it's possible you're running into something new with 9.4 that we haven't accounted for.

Just a note, unless you have got our support team to remove your PT HUD or gone to configure -> Option -> [untick] Download Premium Content, the custom columns will still be continuously added to your system. Running an uninstall of the resource pack etc, wont remove that.

Thx!

"[untick] Download Premium Content" - worked and rebuild goes smoothly.

I will write to prohud support.
