Poker Swiss Casinos

Postby HealMyHeart » Tue Mar 09, 2021 1:45 pm

Ipoker Network has a new client. Poker Swiss Casino. As far I can see PT4 is not supporting this client, right? Are there plans that it will support it in the future?
Because as a swiss player that's the only client I'm allowed to use atm.

Thx

If it uses the same software as other iPoker clients and saves hands as you play then things should work:

iPoker Configuration Guide

If PokerTracker 4 doesn't detect your skin you can click 'Add' to manually select the correct folder for hands which by default is:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\{iPoker Client Name}\data\{iPoker Screenname}\History\Data

If you do not see the AppData folder in Windows File Explorer then refer to this guide. You can also download the installer for your iPoker skin, compress it, and attach it to a Support Ticket so that we can find out the data we need to auto detect it.

Thank you very much for the fast response. I thought because it didn't detect the client, it's not working. I will try to add it manually.

Mac user here.

There is currently no downloadable client for mac from Swiss Casinos, the only option for playing in the "Play Now" option, which runs directly on the webpage and is fairly limited as to the settings one can adjust (no ability to define located for hand history, no ability to define preferred seat, etc). Does anyone know if there's a way to get PT4 to work with the web-based client?

Without the ability to use a HUD, it seems like mac users are at a distinct disadvantage vs. pc users when playing online poker with Swiss Casinos, which is unfortunately the only option now for online poker in Switzerland...

Unfortunately browser play isn't supported on Mac or Windows so the only way to use PokerTracker 4 on your Mac with an iPoker client would be from within a virtual machine.

Thanks for the speedy reply! That's what I suspected.

Too bad there's no iPoker for mac. What a joke online poker in Switzerland has become.

Did you try it? Does Pokertracker work with "Swiss Casino" ?

I am playing via the Windows Client on macOS via https://www.parallels.com/ and its "coherence" mode.

While I am able to import my hand from disk after playing, I am wondering if a generic iPoker support could be added to Pokertracker for Mac so I could potentially use a HUD on the tables and auto-import?

When using iPoker in "coherence" mode via Parallels, it looks and feels like a native Mac app so I wonder if that could be the base for displaying a HUD?

I wouldn't expect any changes to support a non-native operating system setup like that so to use auto-import and display a HUD you would need to run PokerTracker 4 within the virtual machine itself and you can connect to PostgreSQL on the host operating system so the HUD hands go directly to your Mac database and the HUD can retrieve the data that's already stored there.

Thanks.

The post looks a bit dated and I thought connecting the databases would be a bit easier.

Today I've run PT both on Mac and Win and exported/imported the hands after the session into the Mac database.

This way I had HUDs on all tables. However, my CPU was raging a bit so I am not sure if this really scales for me longterm - but at least it is an option.
