Hello forum ! I did a format and then reinstalled PT4 normally , also SQL etc but when I run PT4 i get a message that PT4 cant connect to SQL ! can you please help ? tried some stuff i found online like stop/restart postgre manually but none worked so far ! thank you in advance.

i was advised by a guy to uninstall pt4 and postgre so I did , i tried to reinstall PT4 but now I get a message that says "postgre install did not complete successfully" or something similar.

If PostgreSQL isn't installing successfully then please send us the log file from the failed install to us in a
Support Ticket:
C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\Temp\install-postgresql.logIf you do not see the AppData folder in Windows File Explorer then see
this guide.

tried to sent the file OTT but couldnt so I think i managed to PM that file to you ! thanx.

i get a message "the extension log is not allowed" when I try to attach the file either here or on PM ! can I email it somewhere?

I have been requesting that you attach the file to a
Support Ticket and not here on the forums:
Guide: Attaching FilesThe log file will attach there without this error. When we have the log a technician will work with you in your ticket to resolve this PostgreSQL installation issue. Thank you.
