Trial Version (import error)

Postby BuckeyeCity » Tue Jun 17, 2008 5:23 pm

Was working at first and then this started happening...

PokerStars: Unable to import hand (#18202934050). Reason: Unable to execute query: COPY tourney_holdem_hand_summary FROM STDIN;; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: could not read block 0 of relation 1663/16438/16742: Invalid argument CONTEXT: COPY tourney_holdem_hand_summary, line 1: "54551 100 736 3 971 18202934050 2008/06/17 20:55:42 2008/06/17 17:22:44 9 2 2 2 1500.00 1500.00 1500..." )

and it lags really bad

I'm pretty sure this is a database problem. I'll alert our PostgreSQL expert.

Your PostgreSQL database has been corrupted which can either be caused by a power failure or faulty hardware.

To resolve the error:
  1. Go Start->Programs->PostgreSQL->Configuration Files->Edit postgres.conf
  2. Scroll to the very end of this file and add the line: zero_damaged_pages = on
  3. File->Save.
  4. Go Start->Programs->PostgreSQL->Reload Configurations
That should resolve the issue. After the error has been resolved, it is highly recommend that you go back into your PostgreSQL config file and remove the line we just added.

Best regards,

Derek

I tried to follow the directions and did not get anywhere.

The only file I had under start - PostGres was a file called postgresql.conf

I went to the very bottom of the text file and copied and pasted the required text. Do I need a # sign in front of it or need to put in in quotes? I just put it on an empty line in the text file.

Saved the document, reloaded the configuration, then tried to run the auto-import again with pokertracker. Got the same error message.

2008/07/29 20:24:18: Full Tilt: Unable to import hand (#7109878565). Reason: Unable to execute query: COPY holdem_hand_player_statistics FROM STDIN;; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: index "hhps:idx4-date_played" contains unexpected zero page at block 0 HINT: Please REINDEX it. Let's not
I was thinking seriously about buying PT3 and I am getting the same exact message. I have searched the PT forums, 2+2 forums and googled the hell out of google and I still cannot get it to work. If the programmers or the mods cant seem to figure out what the problem is then what is the point of wasting $90?

Please enable logging, reproduce the problem and submit your PokerTracker.log and PokerTrackerHUD.log files (zip/compress them first) to the
Support system , and link to this thread.

I think my errors are caused by a powerfailure as well, but I am having difficulty with your instructions. Under edit postgresql.conf when i enter the last line of text it will not let me save the line, saying "make sure that the path and file name are correct" any suggestions? (all the other options under edit ____ dont work either when trying to save)
Thanks

That sounds like a permissions problem.
You will need to edit the file with administrator rights.
If you're on Vista I think (I don't have Vista, so bear with me..) you have to right click the shortcut and choose 'Run As...' or 'Properties' and then 'Security'.

Hmmm, that part worked but overall perfect10s method was unsuccessful. If it's any use in the texas holdem tab under aliases there is an error message reading "unable to load query. reason: don't know how to load query file" Also, I no longer have any hand history
