pt3 causes laptop to be extremely slow

Postby ilikepoker69 » Thu Oct 14, 2010 3:35 am

I have been using it before fine, and today i fire it up, and it causes everything to be unusuably slow. I close PT3 and the laptop speed goes back to normal. It could be PAHUD, or PT3 itself, I'm not sure.
I was just importing while playing.

Any ideas?

I noticed cache or whatever was fine at 100%.

When I try to open a 2nd table on Cereus, it says "your virtual memory is too low or your CPU is overloaded".

I was only playong on UB, and had nothing other than UB and Poker tracker running.

I have a dell inspiron 9400, I don't know what else to say. It worked fine as recently as a few days ago. I 5 tabled with HUD and everything no problem.

That's odd - how much RAM do you have in your machine?

My paging File size in MB is 1524-3048 for the C drive.
Space available 11580 MB on C drive

Total Paging file size for all drives
Minimum allowed: 2MB
Recommended: 1521 MB
Currently Allocated: 1524 MB

Hope any of this helps>

Also at the point when UB says PC overlaods, my cpu usage hit about 70%, and PF usage wasn't above 50%.

You're definitely at the bottom of our recommended specifications with this system.

However, if you reproduce the problem after starting PT3 with Logging Enabled and report the problem we'll investigate further what can be done in your case.
