Enet problems/rake/currency

Postby Firzen » Tue Nov 22, 2011 7:07 pm

Tried searching for similar problems but could not find.

1) I'm an affiliate and therefore know the exact € rake amount. For my play PT3 shows $526,3 rake although the actual rake is ~€1200. Is there a known problem with this or is it just me? I have the latest beta version.

2) Also although i have set the default currency in € everything except table names (which have blind levels showing in €) is still shown in $. Amount Won, BB/100, BB/Hour etc.

Thanks for the help!

(1) The Rake statistic in PT3 displays the rake taken out of the pot in hands you won - this will likely not match the method used to calculate for the poker room. If you tell me what method your room uses to calculate, I can give you better further direction.

(2) You want to use the Amount Won (Global) statistic - it uses your global currency. Other statistics do not have Global variants yet, but in the upcoming PT4 all relevant statistics will have versions in your preferred currency.

1) Rake method is dealt.
2) So if i look at sessions profit, rake and such, it means those $ signs are actually € signs? The number is correct but the currency sign is wrong?

1. So is it the rake taken from the pot divided by the number of players dealt into the hand?
PT3 stores and displays that as MGR.

2. For "Amount Won" that is correct, but if you use "Amount Won Native" you will see the correct currency symbol for the currency the game was played in, and "Amount Won Global" displays the amounts converted to your selected global currency.
Please read the Currency Guide for more information on how to use the various currency options in PT3.

pt3 says for march 4244.81 euro my affiliate says 4360.03 US $...and i have the right currency selected. so it is a extrem gap between the numbers.

if i take the curreny rate from today it is a difference of 1305.69$.

Which number are you looking at in PT3?

The rake you actually paid (from pots you won, which is what PT3 shows) and what your affiliate uses to calculate your rakeback may be completely different values.

I suspect that is not the value which your affiliate will be using - please ask them what value they use to calculate your rakeback. You will probably need a custom stat, but it will depend how your rakeback is calculated.
