In what kind of scenario do you think this would be useful? And how do you imagine filtering by hours, would it be last xx hours? Time of the day?

Could you please clarify exactly what you mean? I guess you mean the option to filter between times of day, ignoring dates?

random - you can already filter for the last X hours using More Filters, in Game Details > Dates, near the bottom.

i usually play from 5pm-5am.. so when i start my day and click "today" on the filters, im not looking at all the hands that i played when i started my session but im looking at some hands i played the previous day.

saw it. is there any way to set the filter from 5pm prev day-5am next day?

You can set My Day Starts At to 5am in the Configure > Reporting Options to have date filters work from 5am - 5am instead of from midnight.
