Advanced M4 HUD

Hi,

I've just downloaded the M4 HUD - thanks it looks very useful.

I've got one question (so far!). The tooltips don't display what stat the colour is based on. I think it worked in PT3 but not in PT4.

Is there a way to turn this on?

If you duplicate the stat and edit the short description that will change what name appears in the tooltip. If that's all you change (plus the stat name, obviously), everything will work without any problems.

Sorry I don't understand.

I can edit the short description but that doesn't appear in the tool tip - only the stat name.

If I duplicate the stat and change it's name then it won't be referenced in the HUD, will it? (unless I change it there too - is that the idea?).

That's the idea - create a slightly modified stat that has a name that you want to see, then use that in your HUD. It's a little work, but it shouldn't take too long and once it's finished you'll always see the data you want.

I've noticed I can see the short desc. in the popups though. It would be nice if they were available in the main HUD too - then they could be edited at a later date with little or no hassle.

Still, a great HUD thanks for your work creating it.

Ok thank sounds great.

I've got a few more problems for you in the meantime (lucky you).

I've just installed the latest beta (with tourney stack size filtering). Problem is:

(1) now the hands/notes popup is always empty.

(2) The "X" feature no longer works. I.e for hand one of a game VPIP shows as 0 instead of X.

(3) And a minor point: stats that are undefined show as a black 0 whereas before they were simply absent. This is probably linked with (2) above.

(1) Since those stats are always custom they may take a little while to load but you should see the headers instantly - do you see those?

(2) I wasn't aware of a change there - does the format expression of those stats still look as it should in the Configure Statistics window?

(3) You can change the color of n/a stats in the main PT4 reporting options - if you set it the same color as the background the stat will appear to have vanished.

Yeah the headers are there but the stats just display as a "-" (my default no opportunity setting) . Even if I leave the window open for a whole hand (pre flop to river)

The other popup for general stats can sometimes take a while to populate but it usually does so. Though not always for all players.

The format expressions are unchanged.

OK v 4.01.23 has resolved the "x" and black zero issues but the hands/notes popup is still empty
