Why is it that PT4 is still performing poorly in comparison to HEM1?
I have the same hand histories in a HEM1 DB and in a PT4 DB which are a little less than 110.000 hands. While filtering in HEM1 takes only seconds it feels like ages in PT4. Though I have to differ between Graph, overview data and tournament table. Graph is instantly reday while overview and tournaments take at least a minute to filter.
At first I thought it might be live scanning from ESET NOD 5 so I excluded postgres.exe, pg_ctl.exe and pokertracker.exe from scanning but it is still sloooooooow.
And don't tell me its my machine. Its a Core i7 with 7200 RPM HDD and 6 GB Ram.
I mean its only 110K hands. What are people doing with 1 Million oder 10 Million hands? Wait days when they wanna know how they did?
It shouldn't take longer than seconds to load based on what you describe.
Could you please restart PT4 with Logging Enabled, reproduce these slowdowns and attach your PokerTracker4.log file to a support ticket for us? That will show us your query times and we can tell a lot more what might be going on here. You can find your log file by clicking File --> Open user Data Folder in the main PT4 window after running the reports. The file we need is the text file called PokerTracker 4 in the window that appears.
