Database Error

Postby Th4Sh4rk » Wed May 14, 2008 4:21 pm

Ok I have tried everything. Uninstall/Delete/ MSDOS delete/ install postgre seperate from PT. everything known to man. and I finally get pass the password error. now i got a new one. I've been at this for 3hours and 12 min and getting really frustrated.

This is the error I get:

Error connecting to the default PostgreSQL database:

999-SQLSTATE = IM002
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified.

All I'm trying to do is convert my database from PT2 to PT3. I tried the Link from PT3 under DATABSE->CONVERT.

But it says no PTv2 Databases found. So i assumed I needed to convert my PTv2 Database to PostgreSQL.

Any help ?

Thanks in Advance!!!!

What value do you have selected in the "ODBC Entry To Use" field on the PostgreSQL Settings window?

The user name on the PostgreSQL Settings window should be "postgres" not "postgre".
