Updating Pokertracker 4.07.2

Hey Guys,

for the last week or so i have been trying to update my PokerTracker 4.07.2 to 4.08.3. The Installation process works fine and when i start PokerTracker after installation it does too, but when i reboot my computer or i just close PokerTracker and restart it it shows this window:



After i click continue, everything is set back to 4.07.2.

I tried updating directly to 4.08.3 and i also tried 4.07.2 -> 4.08.2 -> 4.08.3 but nothing really helped.

My system:

Windows 7 x64 (completely up to date)
HDDs: Intel SSD & Seagate Baracuda 500 GB
Intel Q6600 2,4 Ghz
4096 MB RAM
ATI Radeon 4850 HD

Anyone maybe had the same Issue or can give me a hint on how to fix this?

How are you opening PT4? Try deleting all shortcuts to PT4 on your desktop and in your Start menu then re-running the installer and let me know if that works better.

Yes it did, i guess the shortcuts just werent updated. Thank you so much, i kind of feel stupid now because it was such an easy solution!
