Recover lost settings.

Postby wololo » Sat Nov 08, 2014 11:25 pm

Sorry my English.

My hd crashed.
I wanted to recover my entire setup. I'm not worried about the database.
Stats, custom stats, the hud configuration, statistics made by me, filters, ...

I use a setup done by me, with statistics of "Advanced Hud M3 - Cash" and "propokerhuds" and several made by me.
Hard work of years.

Only now I saw this:
https://www.pokertracker.com/guides/PT4 ... nd-restore
But the system no longer runs more, I can not run it again.

I bought a new HD, reinstalled everything. And now I need something to be able to save my world!

I managed to save all the files that were in the old "PokerTracker 4" folder(on my original system) in a pendrive but unable to run the old operating system.

If I just copy the files from the old "Pokertracker 4" folder on my new installation will work perfectly?
Is there another way?

Yes, if you copy the files from the "Data" folder within:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\PokerTracker 4\
..that should recover your Huds and stats, etc.

We advise making regular Backups of your PokerTracker data and databases, as you would for any other important documents, as you never know when a hard disk may fail.

I did it.
The stats were, but the settings of Hud not.

I played a bit anyway. And today already had a problem.
Caught once trying to see that hand with a lost card (only 3d). Pt4 crash up again and caught, with several "ok" just like that.

Has many hands that appear just a one hole card.

Unfortunately I can't see your screenshot.

If PT4 crashes it should offer to upload a crash report when it restarts - if so, please do that and give us as much information in the message as possible.
If it does not, please open a Support Ticket and report your problem so that we can check your logs and see what is going on.

Some sites allow players to show one hand, and I believe that PT4 should handle that, but if you attach the hand history file for the session including that hand to your ticket as well we'll check it for you.

Not so.
It is a PartyPoker and my hand.
I think it does not exist on PartyPoker.

The Pokertracker crash at exactly the time that I try to see the hand history or replay of it.
