Definition of Probe bet?

If the action went like this:

Preflop X raised from the button, Y called from a blind. Y checked the flop and X cbet. Y called the cbet. Y bet the turn.

That is a Turn Donk from Y.

You cannot make a float bet out of position, only a donk or a probe.

What about Y and X both ch turn and Y bets river? What's that called? Is that a river probe?

Is there a existing stat for the same scenario I described EXCEPT, btn checks flop, UTG checks turn and then BTN bets? Or by that time has the preflop raiser given up initiative and so that is just a regular turn bet?

I would just point out that this is generally referred to as a delayed cbet.

Only if BTN was the PFR. In my example, UTG raised pre and both players checked the flop.

A probe bet is a bet out of position after the player who could have made a continuation bet on the prior street did not make that continuation bet.

So for example:

Player X raises preflop on the button, Player Y calls in the BB. Y checks, X checks. Y bets the turn. That's a probe bet because on the street before (the flop) X could have continuation bet (by virtue of the PFR) but did not do so.

So why in the stats I have something like Flop probe bet ?
Is it a mistake ?
I understand turn or river probe bet but on flop ?
Isn't it just donk bet?

We don't have a Probe Flop stat. That would be a Donk Flop.
