Access violations...

Access violations keep popping up and crashing PT2 on a regular basis...lately I've been importing from both FTP and Stars at the same time, but it was doing it some prior to that when I would play one site at a time...I have version 2.17.04g, and run PAHUD at the same time.

Anyone else having this problem?

I'm not aware of anyone having access violation errors with 2.17.04g and certainly not importing for PokerStars, the av errors were only for FTP. Are you sure you have this version, does it say 2.17.04g on the Help/About window?

Yes I'm positive about the version.

It may be something going on with my machine, because it is occasionally getting some other errors besides the access violations that crash PT2. I'm in multi-table situations when this occurs, so I usually just click on the 'OK' buttons, reopen and start importing hands again. I will be sure to slow down and note what the error messages specifically say....is this something that the "enable logging" process can help resolve?

Here is what it said today when it crashed twice; i was playing 4 PS tables and 3 FTP tables when it first said:
Error: Access violation at 0x1147983F (tried to read from 0x0602000E), program terminated

later it said:

0x106C4552 (tried to read from 0x05A517F0)

Probably doesn't help much, but that's what it said.

I did have Poker EV open at the same time, which draws on PT2, but I only 'Loaded Hands' a few times for EV, so I'm not sure if that could be part of the problem...

There is nothing I can do. I've tested v2.17.04g with 1000's of FTP files and didn't get one single access violation error after being able to reproduce the problem with earlier versions. The only other thing I can suggest is to revert to a previous version and use the program that another PT user created to save the FTP files as ANSI files and import them that way. I am experienceing access violations on both computers I have PT2 version 2.17.4.g installed on when importing tournament summaries via POP email from Stars...

Save the emails manually as ANSI text files and import them that way.

I'm getting a similiar message when I try to open cash or tournament player statistics. I'm only playing on Stars. There was an error of some sort when I was compacting the database and now I get the access violation message and it terminates the program.
