We now have a fix available that you can run in order to get live stats working for tournaments in 4.01.18.
(1) Download the attached SQL file. Unzip the file.
(2) Open PGAdmin III (you can find it in Start --> All Programs --> PostgreSQL).
(2a) In the left hand panel you'll see at least one server - if you just see one, right click on the server you see there and click Connect.
(2b) If you see more than one, right click on the one that PT4 uses. The port number will be listed after the colon - so if you use port 5432 it would say something like localhost (127.0.0.1:5432).
(2c) If you don't see any, click the plug icon on the toolbar at the top, type in whatever name you want, use localhost for host and the port you connect on via PT4 with the username postgres and whatever password postgres uses in PT4.
(3) Once you are connected you should see a list of Databases - it may just have two (postgres and PT4 DB) or it may have more. It should be obvious which is your PT4 database. Click on the database in question and click the magnifying glass icon that says SQL in it in the toolbar.
(4) This will bring up a new window. In this window, click File --> Open and open the file you downloaded. A bunch of text will appear.
(5) Click the green play arrow once it is loaded in the toolbar at the top.
Once you do that, you're all set. If you have multiple databases, follow the steps from (3) to (5) again as many times as needed.
This fix will work seamlessly and will not cause any problems going forward, but if you do not feel comfortable doing these steps we understand, and we will fix this issue for everyone in our next beta release.
