Number Of players filtered

Postby BMWm20b25 » Sat Sep 22, 2012 9:21 am

Here is what i want: when there is 5players i want stats from 4,5,6 handed, when there is 7players i want stats from 6,7,9players etc etc

This is what i do to get it
Number of player filtered:
Min Max
8 10
7 9
6 8
5 6
4 5
3 4
2 2

But when i play with this and someone leave or join my table the hand counter is at 1 and everybodys stats is reseted wich should not be possible beacause with that Config i wrote above the stats should also be covered from the hands played before somone Leaved/Joined.

So why is this happening I dont want to have a..
Min Max
7 10
5 6
3 4
2 2

..config because when the players change from 7 to 6 or 5 to 4 it resets and that is not something i want when playing multible tables.

For everything that's not heads up (which you do have separate), I agree - unless multiple people leave or join at once it should not be starting back over from 1 (if you went from 3 to 7 in one hand of course it would).

Please restart PT4 using the Logging Enabled link on your Start Menu and reproduce this problem. Then please send us the PokerTracker4.log file via a support ticket so that we can investigate this further for you. You can find this file by clicking File -> Open User Data Folder in the main PT4 window. The file we need is the text file called PokerTracker that's in the folder that appears.

Ah, I see what is happening now!

PT4 goes down the list in order each hand and picks the table size type that matches first in the list. So for 6 handed it goes down your list and gets 6 to 8.

For 5 handed it goes down the list and gets 5 to 6.

So if you have your first hand with someone 5 handed and then it goes to 6 handed you'll lose it because it's not in the 6 to 8 range.

So is it impossible to make PT4 count all hands played with one player more and one player less as i want it to do?
So when i am 5 handed why cant it count all hand in the 4-5 AND the 5-6 range In this case all ~34 hands is in those two player ranges.

In other words is my only option to have the Boring far from optimal 10-7 6-5 4-3 2-2 configuration and i just have to live with playing 7handed with 1000hands on each player but i cant see them beacause those 1000hands where played 6 handed?

Or is there a solution to my problem?

Unfortunately there is no way around this - at any given time only one range can be selected.

If I set Minimum Hands requiered to 7 or something do you think i force it to use the player range with enough data?
