Postgres problems after update win7

Hi

A fellow of pokerstrategy.fr reported that he got this error message after the last update of Win7:

When he starts manually, he gets this:

How can he resolve this?

That looks as if the 'postgres' service user isn't available.
It sounds as if your friend was already using Windows 7, and this was just an update within Windows 7 - is that correct? I haven't seen that cause any problems for the 'postgres' user, but I suppose it's possible. If he still has the same problem after a reboot follow these directions to uninstall and re-install PostgreSQL. He can keep his databases.
