How to add IP/OOP for a Custom Preflop Stat

Hello,

I've tried dabbling into creating custom statistics, but I'm absolutely patchy at best and squalid at worst.

Is there a way to get to know how to introduce the option to know if it's IP or OOP for a specific Preflop statistic? Is there an advanced course that anyone can direct me to to get to learn how to create custom statistics in depth? I'd really appreciate any help.

There isn't a single IP/OOP property that can be used for preflop statistics - it will depend on the statistic. Are you comparing the position of a 4bettor to a 3bettor? Are you comparing the position of a player who called a 3Bet to the position of the 3bettor? There are some examples of those available for download in the Download Warehouse. If you want to create your own statistics then this guide covers the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide goes into more detail. While the latter was written for PokerTracker 3 and the user interface is different the techniques still apply to PokerTracker 4. With regards to comparing the positions of players that is done using the actors and aggressors strings - this post has information on how the actors and aggressors strings work while this thread and this thread discuss how you can compare/test the strings.
