Hi,

Just wondering a little about the StdDev(BB/100) stat. I undersatnd that SD is the square root of the variance therefore my variance is 5291 based on SD of 72.74...but where or what is the 5291 and where does it come from...

Variance is a measure of how far the values within a given sample are spaced out. In this particular example it's a measure of the spacing between the winrate over your lifetime (or smaller if filtered) of hands. The wikipedia article on Variance is a decent place to start, or any site that looks to explain probability theory.
