There are many new features and dozens of improvements in PokerTracker 4.08 including:
Hand History Replayer Preferred Seating
Now you can always sit in the same seat in the PokerTracker 4 Hand History Replayer! Configure your favorite seat by clicking Options and then select Preferred Seat in the Replayer.
From the Replayer's Options menu select Preferred Seat. Your preference will be remembered every time you open the Replayer if the Preferred Seat option is checked.
Replay "Run It Twice" Hands
The second board in “Run It Twice” hands are now displayed in the Hand History Replayer and the Hand History Viewer.
Combine All Consecutive Player Folds in the Replayer
The Replayer has a new option that allows consecutive player folds to be combined together, this allows you to skip over the non-essential folds preflop, so you can focus on the important action in the game. To enable this feature in the Replayer click Options and then select Combine Folds.
Create Manual Omaha Hand Ranges
Hand Ranges in the Omaha Equity Calculator can now be constructed manually using the "*" wildcard to represent all card ranks or suits within the range. Natural language ranges created in the Manual Range field will be automatically converted into the range definition language used by PokerTracker 4.
In the Equity Calculator click the Sel button (Select), and the chose one of the Range Selector options.
When you click Create Range, the manual range will be converted into range definition language used by PokerTracker 4

- AKQT [AKQT any suitedness]
- AA** [AA with anything]
- AhAdKhKd, AsAhQsQh exact 4 hands comma separated
Experimental Feature: “Table Selector” Places the HUD at Problematic Tables
PokerTracker works best when the online poker room provides unique names for each poker table, when unique names are not available then PokerTracker needs to know how to put the HUD on each table.
The Table Selector will appear anytime you are playing at a poker table that does not have a unique name, “Select” the table where the HUD should be placed, and PokerTracker will automatically solve the problem for you!
If you wish to use this experimental feature, it can be enabled by visiting HUD > Edit HUD Options > Advanced then check Allow Table Selection Dialog When Necessary. The iPoker, Microgaming (MPN), and Winning Poker networks will all use the new Table Selector when it is necessary.
4.8 Tournament Detection Tip: Shootouts
PokerTracker needs to detect the type of tournament that is being played, this is necessary to perform the ICM calculations needed for updating the Net Adjusted Winnings graph. Unfortunately shootout tournaments are very hard to detect because they appear to be similar to Heads-Up Tournaments, PokerTracker cannot properly detect Shootout tournaments until after the event is completed and a tournament summary is imported (if a summary is available on the poker network, not all sites provide summaries).
To solve this issue we recommend a special workflow for our users who frequently play shootout tournaments.
- Select Configure > Sites & Import Options and then view the Tournaments page
- Check Overwrite Data and Run Detection Post Import in the Summary Import section, then click OK.
PokerTracker will now wait to detect all tournaments once the Tournament Summary is imported at the end of the event, this will assure that your tournament results are accurately detected, and that your Net Adjusted Winnings results are correct.
Improved Omaha Equity Calculations
Last but not least, we have improved the accuracy of equity calculations in Omaha hands when there is a chance to split the pot. This improvement will give you perfectly accurate equity and ICM calculations, and is fully implemented in the Equity Calculator, All-In Equity, and Net Adjusted Winnings calculations.
