Players only (merge) hand format not supported

Heya, thanks so much in advance if you can offer a solution. I am on a mac book pro 2.4 GH core i5, with OSX 10.6.8. I am running PT3v 3.11.1 Beta. When I try to import my hands It comes up with a message that says Merge.cfg error Invalid date APR-2010= thanks so much in advance

That sounds like your file is out of date - what version of PT3 are you using?
If it isn't v3.11.3 Beta you should update:

If you are running 3.11.3 try re-installing it (do not uninstall first, just install over the top) and that should make sure you have the latest versions of all the files.

nope installed the freshest version and reinstalled and am having the same error message

The underlying error is that PT3 isn't able to connect to the database, so let's sort that out first (I don't think the Merge.cfg message will be critical).
If you start the PostgreSQL server via Applications > PostgreSQL do you get any errors?
Are you able to view stats in the main application reports?
Are you able to create a new database in Database > Database Management?
