how am i doing this?

Postby Acryl » Thu May 22, 2014 9:32 pm

on 2+2 i asked:

"so whats the best way to messure "how you ran" in MTTs, or in other words, whats the best way to determine how lucky/unlucky you've really been and how it translates to actual winnings/losses in $?"

i was answered this:

So if you want to see how you did in big $ equity spots filter for the biggest blind levels you played or for chipev and see how you ran in your biggest pots.

This isn't perfect since you may run like God until you get unlucky at the FT, but it's an aproximation.

ive displayed graphs with PT4 before but i couldnt find out how to filter for biggest pots or for chip-EV. how am i doing this. also do you agree with this answere that this is the best way to messure how lucky/unlucky someone has been playing MTTs.

because filtering for tournaments or hands played in tournaments and then for BB's or prizes seems pretty pointless it doesnt tell anything, at least thats what i think and what also most posters on 2+2 said.

please help me! thanks!

You can filter by blind level or pot size in More Filters - Filter Guide. You could then look at equities for those hands, but really trying to determine your "luck" is very difficult because there are so many facets to it.
