Will there be cross exchange of features and addon software. For example, will Notecaddy come to PT4. Will PT4 custom stat system be implemented in HM2?

Our official policy is that we do not comment on future plans or undeveloped features, but I can share that we do have plans for cross-integration of some key technologies, we go into some detail on this topic in the official merger FAQ. This may or may not include some apps that were previously only available to HM2 customers and certain features currently exclusive to PokerTracker 4, the decision is dependant on technology and resources available. With that said, we cannot comment on the specifics of which technologies or when until they are actually released.

Many of the eventual technologies shared might go unnoticed by our respective users, there is some redundancy that can be eliminated to help make our development process more efficient. As you can imagine there is an overlap in technology, support and infrastructure between the two companies. By merging into one company, we gain from the the combined experience of the two teams and benefit from a more efficient development process which we hope will allow us to invest even more into improving our products which will in turn benefit users in the long run.

Some of our support staff will be reciprocally trained. I do not know which reps in particular will be trained however, thats a management decision that will eventually be made to help balance available resources.

Will Steven be arguing with people talking about $EV and "luck" in HM2 forum?

That made me chuckle, thanks for the laugh! There will be some unity in our terminology and calculation methods over time, but this kind of work does not occur overnight - its more big picture.

what will be the default postgres password?|?|?

We are traditionalists, no need to rock the boat when the existing methods for PT4 and HM2 already work well therefore we will keep the default password the same.

Are you going to remove the belittling quotes about HEM from your main page?

Are you going to continue to offer both products or will there eventually be a Poker Hold'em Tracker Manager product that we will have to upgrade to?

The quotes were from users who shared their passion for PokerTracker 4 after switching from a different application. We intentionally avoided including any quotes that were disparaging or belittling of any other brand - including HEM. You do bring up a good question though, and to be honest, its not something we have discussed yet. We don't censor our forums when users express opinions about any tracking software product - we allow all opinions to remain. Since the rotating user quotes are not in the same category as the forum where we took the quotes from, I am going to make an executive decision on the spot - I will review all the quotes today and remove any that are not specifically about PokerTracker 4 or outdated.

Thanks for the feedback sawwee, it will be addressed.

While we are now a unified company, we wanted to assure you that we remain committed to maintaining and supporting both PokerTracker and Hold’em Manager. Our merger is for the business, it does not affect our PokerTracker or Hold'em Manager brand plans - they will proceed as intended. Plans for an eventual release of PT5 and HM3 have not changed because of the merger, but please keep in mind that we are currently only in the very early stage of planning for these future products lines. We do not yet have an estimated release date for PT5 and HM3, but I can share that it will be far into the future.
